Thank you so much for your patience the last couple weeks with my blogging. I have been so busy with some amazing ventures. I met an attorney to file criminal charges against my abuser and my heart was broken again! I was told age 28 here in California. It does not matter what kind of proof I have. So I have been invited to be apart of legislation for changing the laws for the children in the future to get justice.
I went to Philadelphia for 4 days to learn more about the mentoring program I’m doing, I met some amazing people learned so much and was gifted some beautiful books. The one I’m reading now called “ Combating Cult Mind Control” the author is Steven Hassan. It’s a must read! Amazon find.
Then off to Florida I went to see my daughter and meet with a survivor who flew in from New Orleans to spend the weekend with me. Time went by way to fast, Enjoyed the Florida sun and then kisses from my daughter and told her I would see her soon.
After that I few into Sacramento and met with my dear friend and team mate Connie, what a treasure to have her in my life., she picked me up at the airport and took me to my truck and off to Humboldt county home.
I have started a local support group and we meet every Sunday, what a treat that is.
I am also working on my book weekly with a wonderful and talented editor. The dream is to have it done by Christmas.
I also am getting my own counseling once a month with an amazing lady through Skype from the Netherlands going on month 6. She is on my website under resources. She is an ex witness and gets what we went through.
I know this is a lot for one blog but wanted to get caught up with you and let you know these blogs will be once a week, Needless to say I have been so busy with one survivor at a time and my own healing.
One more thing, I’m also working on my non profit for SAFE, wish me well!
